Individual or group?
Louis is a middle-aged Asian American man (he could "pass as a Chinese" and receives government subsidies after moving to China) who lives in a dystopian near future New York City with his wife of twenty years. He works in a non-specified office in Manhattan, where he learns from a colleague the details about the functioning of the omnipresent security checks in the subway. He is dejected and wistful for his past, when the country was much less safe but at least people could move freely. He longs for a day when he can avoid a security check and carry an object on the subway, undetected.
