Description (in English)

The work consist of two neon light brackets hanging on a wall and a camera equipped with attribute classification software. When the visitor approaches the artwork they are classified according to various algorithmic measurements (facial perhaps object recognition). The results are compared to the measures of the past visitor and the brackets will only light up if the visitor is classified as "similar" to previous visitor analyzed by the camera. The work references to the many technologies that classify and groups us as humans: "Just as with many of our technological systems, the viewers are left to determine on their own why they have been grouped, a lingering reminder no matter how much our machines classify, ultimately classification is also a human process."(1)
