Neural network artist Isabella Salas uses "multicultural original portraits"(1) taken by Nora Golic as a dataset and trains a neural network with them. The video described as a "latent walk" as the image morphs moving in the latent space of the model.
In the artist statement celebrates diversity, inclusion and community and it is intended to "allow larger diverse audiences to identify themselves."(1)
