Description (in English)

Cyber Roberta and Tillie are two dolls with their eyes replaced with cameras. One in color and one in black and white. Through a internet page the user could choose one of the cameras and pan the dolls head 180 degrees allowing a extended vision of the gallery space. "By looking at the world through the eyes of Tillie, viewers become not only voyeurs but also virtual cyborgs, because they use her eyes as a vehicle for their own remote and extended vision. "(1)

When the two dolls were exhibited together they could "pirate" each others information. A mirror placed in front of Tillie gave additional perspectives to view interactions between the dolls and in the room: "CybeRoberta's sites are often directed towards Tillie, maintaining a covert inspection via a monitor and mirror of her own."
