Description (in English)
The artwork studies the concept of "Generic Nature", "a concept created to refer to the appearance of nature, which has been extracted and reconstructed according to human purposes and has become similar."(1) A concept that goes beyond artificial nature. The artwork has four parts: Work 1 _ Utopian Extraction, Work 2 _ Ecosystem, Work 3 _ Sisyphus Dataset and Work 4 _ Fresh Stones. The series uses machine vision technologies such as satellite images, drone footage, 3D scans, object recognition and artificial intelligence (machine learning ) to inspect the relation of artificallity and nature from different perspectives. The work reveals the to what extremes humans use power and technology to shape, generate, and reconstruct nature.
