Brief description
The artist developed a mysterious interface that gives its users the possibility to navigate in the latent space of a neural network (StyleGAN2). The interface draws references to alchemy and by pulling mysterious strings with various symbols a face in the middle is morphing creating new faces. De StyleGAN2 was developed to create hyper realistic faces and potentially the face of every human being could be created by adjusting the strings. However, what happens in the latent space is a black box and can only be navigated by gut feeling.
