Work Eye/Machine I (Suicide Cameras)

Brief description

A cross-hair is focusing on the target as the camera is moving towards it. The camera moves into the target and when the impact takes place the image disappears and turns in to white-noise indicating that the camera is destroyed. The projectile it was attached to has hit the target. These images are from the 1991 US war against Iraq. The images are juxtaposed with the text: Images from flying projectiles, Images from suicide cameras (1:09-1:31). The machine vision is destroyed in the process of achieving its goal to destruct its target.
